Welcome

The Center for Archives and Digital History supports student-focused Digital History projects.  Located at Radford University in Virginia's New River Valley and staffed by the Radford University History Department's practitioners of Digital and Public History, the CADH facilities include a fully equipped digitization lab, secure archival storage for collections in process, and a reading room. Current priorities for digitization projects include local history and Appalachian history. The CADH is always looking for community partners, including institutions, organizations, and community members, to join with us in using digital tools to study history. Please reach out by email if you or your organization would like to collaborate with us.

Support the Center for Archives and Digital History

The CADH relies on the critical support of donors to provide students with the opportunity to work directly with original archival material and to negotiate new digital spaces of creativity and research. Contribute to the CADH Foundation Fund to invest in the future of our students. The CADH uses these donations to purchase supplies and equipment, compensate student interns, and build our collections.

Give here to the CADH Foundation Fund. Thank you for your support!
